If you’re considering Botox for the first time, it’s completely normal to have questions.

One of the most common things I hear in clinic is: “I don’t really know what to expect.”

So I always like to talk clients through the process clearly before we begin.

The consultation comes first

Every appointment starts with a consultation.

This is where we:

• Talk through your concerns and goals

• Assess your facial movement and structure

• Decide whether Botox is the right option for you

There’s no pressure to go ahead — this step is about making sure the treatment is appropriate and tailored to you.

The treatment itself

Botox is a quick procedure, usually taking around 10–15 minutes.

A very fine needle is used to place small amounts of product into specific muscles. Most clients describe the feeling as small pinches — it’s very manageable.

After your appointment

There’s very little downtime.

You might notice:

• Slight redness at injection points

• Small bumps (which usually settle quickly)

I’ll always give you clear aftercare advice before you leave.

When will you see results?

Results don’t happen instantly.

You’ll usually start to notice a difference within a few days, with full results developing over 10–14 days.

My approach

For me, Botox is never about freezing the face or removing all movement.

It’s about softening lines while keeping your expressions natural.

Subtle, balanced results are always the goal.

Final thoughts

If you’ve been thinking about Botox but feel unsure, that’s completely normal.

The best place to start is always with a conversation.
